Artpack offers maintenance programs for public sculptures. One such sculpture is the historic Horace Rackham Memorial Fountain – also known as “Bear Fountain” – at the Detroit Zoo. The fountain was donated in 1939 in honor of Horace Rackham, the first President of the Detroit Zoological Commission. It is one of the Zoo’s most photographed attractions.
This bronze fountain is designed around a large bowl supported by two ten-foot tall standing bears. Inside the 75,000-gallon pool are life size turtles, frogs, and seals. Artpack is proud to maintain this fountain so that it can be enjoyed by all who visit.
